Registration begins on May 18th for our 2024 Summer Reading Program! We currently have program brochures available, and we’ll have printed reading logs available starting on May 18th. Program information can also be found on our website, and an online registration option will be available. Summer programs for Children, Teens and Adults will start on June 3rd and conclude on July 25th. Adventure Begins at Your Library!

Uncategorized Author Event: Elizabeth Horton-Newton
Hear author Elizabeth Horton-Newton read from her book, View From the Sixth Floor: An Oswald Tale. One description states, “This romantic thriller takes a fictional “what if” look at the JFK assassination.” (from the product description on Amazon.com). Horton-Newton’s Amazon About page describes her as the “Seductress of Suspense,” with an “education in Criminal Psychology, Sociology, and Media Communications.” If you have an interest in conspiracy theories and/or enjoy Mystery/Thrillers with a splash of romance, you won’t want to miss out on this event!

Uncategorized Community Resource Training
This community event will be held at the library. ASAP of Anderson County will provide free medication lock boxes, as well as training for the public on administering Naloxone. Pizza and drinks will also be provided.
