Get a Library Card

Visit the library, and ask a librarian at the front desk for an application form. Adult cards may be made for anyone over the age of 18. Juvenile cards are for patrons under 18 (note: a custodial parent/guardian must fill out the form for the minor.)

Fill out the form and present a License or photo ID with a current address. If your license/ID does not have a current address, please bring a piece of mail that has a current address.

The librarian will input your information into the system, and give you your library card. You may check out 2 items the first time you use your card.

Enjoy! If you choose to check out items at the time you pick up your library card, then you will be provided a receipt with due dates. If you would like to learn more about our regular library policies, please click here.

*The first library card is free and available to all Tennessee residents who meet the requirements. There is no minimum age requirement. Photo identification and proof of residence showing a current mailing address are required.*
