We at Clinton Public Library will be hosting an art showcase on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5:30pm to 6:30 PM. For several weeks prior to the showcase, library visitors will be able to view the artworks during library hours. Then, we invite you to attend the Showcase to browse the displays, enjoy snacks, and chat with attending artists and guests. Select pieces will be for sale by the artists. After the event, we will announce a winner and two runners-up.

Let’s do some hands-on learning about nature at 4:00 on Tinker Thursdays in August! 

• 8/10: Read & discuss “Tale of the Sun,” a Creek Indian folktale.
• 8/17: Read “In the Forest of S.T. Shrew” and complete a Forest Habitats activity.
• 8/24: Create a tree factory.
• 8/31: Make your own paper.

• 8/10, 8/17, 8/24: Through Gale, review material and take practice tests (see full list HERE) and use the career tools to create a resume, search for jobs and more.
• 8/31 & through September: Learn a new language with Transparent Language Online!
