About Us

The Clinton Public Library is located in Clinton, Tennessee, the seat of Anderson County. It is one of twenty libraries in the Clinch River Regional Library System and one of four libraries serving 75,129 residents in the county. The four Anderson County libraries governed by the Anderson County Library Board are: Briceville, Clinton, Norris, and Rocky Top Public Libraries.


It is the mission of the Anderson County Libraries to inform, educate, culturally enrich, and entertain the citizens of Anderson County, Tennessee.  In an effort to fulfill the libraries’ mission, the staff of the Clinton Public Library is committed to the following principles:
