Clinton Public Library is pleased to announce a new digital library where you can browse, checkout, and download eBooks and audiobooks to your e-reader, MP3 player, or iPod anytime of day from anywhere in the world. All you need is the barcode from the back of your library card.
What is R.E.A.D.S?
R.E.A.D.S. is….
A free online library of digital books, provided to you by the TN State Library and Archives and the Clinton Public Library. It is full of downloadable audiobooks and eBooks: Popular Fiction, Classic Literature, Mystery, Romance, Children’s Titles, Teens’ Titles, and many many more!
Just like at the Library, you can:
- Check out available books
- Make a wish list of titles
- Place holds on books that are already checked out to someone else.
Like a Library at Home
- Check out digital books for 7, 14, or 21 days at a time. You decide.
- Digital books expire on their own.
- No late fees.
- No need to return.

What you Need:
- Your Clinton Public Library Card
- Internet Access
- Free software from the website (or Amazon account, for Kindle)
- A computer or compatible portable device to open the digital book
