The Library
We have books to help you learn about computers. Search our catalog or look for them in the 004-005 sections in the non-fiction. Ask the staff for help, if desired.
Volunteer Computer Tutor
Not only do we offer great resources, but we also offer personalized instruction. We have a special volunteer who is willing to sit down with you, one-on-one, at the library, and walk you through whatever computer issues you may have. Contact us to schedule an appointment.

Pasco County Libraries
These libraries have published a series of video tutorials to help you use the computer and internet:
- The first chapter of the Pasco County Library System Basic Skills Tutorial reviews the components of a computer such as the screen, keyboard, and mouse. Length (6:02)
- The second chapter of the Pasco County Library System Basic Skills Tutorial demonstrates how to use Internet Explorer to browse the Web. Length (1:44)

Classes
Lake City Public Library offers free computer classes, Tuesdays at 11am. Topics range from basic concepts to job searching. No registration required.
The library is also offering a series of laptop classes. To learn more about these, call 865-426-6762.
Knox County Public Library offers a variety of computer workshops at the main library and the Burlington branch. Check their calendar online. Workshops are free, but registration is required. Call the library (525-5431 or 215-8723) to register, as early as one week prior to the event.
