Home schooling is a difficult task.
The Clinton Public Library wants to make it easier on you.

Not only do we strive to provide the best services and resources for you at the library; but we also partner with the Young Adventures home school group, a local organization that you can join. Read what YAG has to say:
Young Adventures Group was established in 2007 for elementary aged home school children in the East Tennessee area.
Meetings: We primarily meet in Anderson County at the Clinton Public Library or Norris Fellowship Church. Meeting times and dates vary between classes and other activities.
Families: There are approximately 20 families in the group, with continual growth.
Ages: The age range of the children is from toddlers to fifth grade (and babies).
Programs and Activites: classes, field trips, seasonal parties, family gatherings, graduation awards ceremonies, community volunteering, monthly kids’ book club (which meets at the Clinton Public Library), moms’ night, monthly park days, and more.
Mission Statement: Education should be a lifelong adventure, where friends become family. YAG understands the importance of teaching our children to become good stewards of the community.
Membership Requirements: We are an inclusive group, who welcome and respect all. We support the idea of obtaining as much information as you can so your family can thrive in home schooling. We encourage participants to join the Young Adventures Group Yahoo group to keep current on activities. We encourage your family’s ideas and suggestions to make the group a stronger unity.
Fees: YAG has a $20.00 family membership fee per school year (August to May) to stay active in the group and have access to the Yahoo message board.
