About Us

The Clinton Public Library is located in Clinton, Tennessee, the seat of Anderson County. It is one of twenty libraries in the Clinch River Regional Library System and one of four libraries serving 75,129 residents in the county. The four Anderson County libraries governed by the Anderson County Library Board are: Briceville, Clinton, Lake City and Norris Public Libraries. It is the mission of the Anderson County Libraries to inform, educate, culturally enrich, and entertain the citizens of Anderson County, Tennessee.

Meet the Staff

Meg Harrison: Library Director

Misty Campbell, Assistant Librarian, is a native of Tennessee with several years’ experience working at the Clinton Public Library.

Library Assistants Erica Costly, Betty Ellis, Dorothy Hockensmith,  Janie Wolfenbarger, Michele Jacobs, and Karen Riley work tirelessly to deliver great customer service and assist patrons with all their informational needs.

Kimberly Jackson, our page, does a wonderful job of returning library material to the shelves in a timely fashion.

Mr. Stewart, our terrific custodian, and the staff of the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department are hard at work each day making repairs, cleaning, and taking care of the building.

Computers We have eleven computers available for public use.   All of the computers grant you access to the Internet and are equipped with Microsoft Office.  Two of them also have resume-writing software installed. Borrowing Policy

How Do I Get a Library Card? The first library card is free and available to all Tennessee residents who meet the requirements.
