Join our Children's Librarian Kelly for some movin' groovin' fun Saturday, August 11th and Friday, August 17th @ 10:00 AM. The kids can express their musical talents with rhythm sticks, drums, shakers, and bells!

Returning Programs

Summer Reading is over and that means our regularly scheduled programs are returning! These include Book Babies (Mon @ 10:30 AM), Teen Craft (Wed @ 3 PM), and Family Story Time (Wed @ 10:30 AM). Read to a Dog will be returning to its regular time on Tuesdays @ 3:30 PM!

A representative of the Anderson County Historical Society will be at the library every second Saturday of the month to assist with historical and genealogy research! Stop by from 12-2 PM to get started or visit the research page on our website to find some great free resources.

Homeschool Lit Links is returning! On the 3rd Friday of every month homeschoolers are invited to join us for Lit Links. This month, students will read a book set in another country and create a travel brochure for that location. The first meeting will be Aug 17th @ 11 AM.

Introducing Fandom Friday! Every fourth Friday of the month we'll have a night of fun featuring a chosen fandom. Join us this month for Disney Night on Fri, Aug 24th from 5-6:30 PM. We'll have Disney themed snacks, Heroes vs. Villains trivia, and a costume contest for all ages!

The Tennessee Electronic Library is a free digital library available to all residents of TN! TEL provides access to databases covering a variety of topics. It also has resources that can help you learn a different language, prep for a major education or professional level exam, and research careers!
